Ordering, Design, and Production
Process
This page is intended to give potential or new
customers a better understanding of the process involved in obtaining products from Custom Interior Imaging. The
first step is to contact us with the necessary information to begin the design process. The following is a list
of information that will be required to process your order.
- Your name, company name, and contact information
- Your project name
- The type of product you are interested in (wallcovering,
wallborder, or digital print or mural)
- Potential yardage for the order
- Any information or samples on desired patterns,
colors, and textures
Information and samples may be submitted in
several formats. Colors can be matched by specifying paint chip numbers from most popular paint manufacturer fan
decks. Digital images can be mailed on disc, emailed, or uploaded to the web server from this website. For security,
you will need to contact Custom Interior Imaging to obtain a user name and password. Physical samples of tiles,
upholstery, carpeting, etc. may also be submitted for color, pattern, and texture matching.
After your information is received, the design process is begun. Once the type of print, pattern, and color are
determined, a representative will open a dialogue to ensure your concept is accurately produced. Digital samples
and computer printed images may be submitted for early correction. Final strikeoff samples for production run approvals
are printed on the base material with production inks.
Orders for production yardage are made only after strikeoff samples are approved. For screen printed items, artwork
from approved samples is used to produce production screens. Inks are custom formulated to match approved colors.
Grounds are checked for color and quality. Strict quality control standards are maintained throughout production
run to ensure the highest quality product possible.
Pricing for production yardage may vary based on actual yardage of the final order. Production scheduling is based
on material availability, customer deadlines, and prior commitments made by Custom Interior Imaging. After production,
all samples and specifications are kept on file, should replacement or additional yardage ever be needed. Shipment
destination and method are based on customer specifications.
Please contact Custom Interior Imaging with any questions you may have
or to begin the process of bringing your design concept to reality.
